Problems with Battery Keeping charge.?

Well, I have a 1980 Toyota Pickup. Oldie but a goodie. I picked it up off of a friend who got it from his cousin's dad, so it's gone a ways from home. I love the truck, but I'm having difficulties with it.

Bad alternators are hard on batteries, I think all you need is a new battery. You might also want to check if you have something draining the battery when the vehicle is turned off.
