any one no the size socket i need to change oil filter on my vauxhall astra 1700 tdi deisel?

I take it this is the 1686cc Isuzu engine, it has a plastic upper housing, depending on year, could use either a 32 or a 36mm socket. Keep a tray under the engine to catch oil drips...............
