I've been trying to replace my thermostat. The old one I took out had red, white, black, and green wires. The new thermostat is noma programmable thermostat. It only has two black wires coming out of it. Not sure which wires to connect where.
It sounds like you bought a thermostat for controlling 120V for basebaord heating and won't work. Do you have a/c? Do you remeber where the wires went to on the old thermostat and what kind of thermostat it was? digital, round, or did you control the
