Hi, yesterday my car started doing something funny. I was driving home and the temp. gauge would rise to the middle line, the heat would get ice cold and then a few mins later fall to almost the first C line and heat got hot again...Is this the thermostat??
Sounds like the T-Stat is defective. Check the coolant level 1st to make sure you havent lost any. If so, locate and repair the leak before you do anything. When was the cooling system serviced last? If more than a few years, replace coolant and possibly
