Squeeky polished aluminum underdrive pulley's on car?

I have polished aluminum underdrive pulleys. During the winter they squeak horribly. I have attempted different tensions and even some crc pulley oil to stop the squealing. It works for one trip and then it starts again. I was told to rub the polished

A lite sanding with sand paper should do the trick. you can also use steel wool. ether one you can get at the hardware store.
