I have a '97 Dodge Stratus ES, and if it makes any difference, I live in Hawai`i.
About a year ago, I had to replace the temp gauge as the car was seriously overheating. That seemed to do the trick, as I had no trouble with the car overheating
The motor that comes in that generation Stratus and Sebrings has a coolant bleeder to the left of the intake manifold (the huge plastic piece that has words and numbers molded into it). These are notorious for breaking and leaking. I've seen many cars
